Criss Cross Reversible Crochet Neck Warmer

The Criss Cross stitch is one of my favorites. This pattern is reversible. The criss cross design looks like it's switching directions depending on if you're on the Right Side or Wrong Side. If you're a beginner don't worry it's quite easy. Sewing Instructions included in video. I use an invisible sewing technique. You can sew it any way you prefer. I will show you how to do the turning chain (TCH) if you're not familiar with it.

IF you want to see how to do the TCH go to this video http://youtu.be/diqWCOVGa3s.

The Criss Cross Pattern Video is at  http://youtu.be/jzuQIseunv4

Notes:
The video will show you 3 rows + the sewing. If you know how to do the turning chain you only have to watch up to Row 2. I did 3 rows so I could show you how to do the Turning Chain.  I labeled the rows + the sewing sections so you could go to the section you want to watch.

Abbreviations:
TCH = Turning Chain
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

Size: 7 inches wide by 20 inches tall
Number of Rows: 34
Gauge: 3.5 sts per inch and 1.75 rows per inch
Yarn used: Caron 1 pound (very soft yarn)

Pattern:
x of 2+1 stitches
Chain 25

Row 1: Do 1 sc in the second chain from the hook and in each stitch across the row (24 sc made)

Row 2: ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), *skip 1 st, 1dc in the next stitch, do 1dc in skipped st * repeat across to the last stitch and do 1dc in it.

From row 3 and on you will finish the row by crocheting into the TCH . If you're not sure how to do the TCH go to this link http://youtu.be/diqWCOVGa3s.

Repeat row 2 for the pattern
Repeat row 2 for the pattern
When you reach the desired length for your neck warmer cut yarn. If you want a scarf just continue on.

I hope you give it a try. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks!!
Heather
