Crochet Cluster stitch pattern




I often refer to this stitch as the Brick Cluster because it's just like the Brick stitch but instead of groups of 3 Double Crochet's you do a Cluster.

You can create a blanket or scarf....well, just about anything with this stitch pattern. For other Cluster patterns see the end of this post.

Stitch Pattern: Cluster
Yarn used: Impeccable yarn by Loops N Threads

Chain: / Size / Hook Size 
Chain 24 = 7 inches using I Hook/5.50mm
Even number of chains needed
Gauge: 3.4 stitches per inch 1.6 rows per inch

Abbreviations: 
sc = Single Crochet
dc = Double Crochet
ch = Chain
Ch1space - Chain 1 space
TCH = Turning Chain
* - Repeat the instructions between the asterisks 

Cluster = It is a 2dc Cluster.
YO, Insert Hook into stitch, YO, Pull through, YO pull through 2 loops only (2 left on hook)
YO, Insert Hook into same stitch, YO, Pull through, YO pull through 2 loops, YO pull
through all 3 loops



PATTERN
Even number of chains needed

Row 1: Do 1sc in the 2nd chain from hook, *ch1, skip 1, 1sc in next chain

Row 2: ch3 (is the first DC) *Cluster in ch1space, ch1, skip 1* repeat until you get to the last ch1space & dc and do Cluster in last ch1space and 1DC in last sc.

Row 3: ch1, * Cluster in next ch1space, ch1* repeat to last ch1sp and do 1 Cluster in it (no ch1) do 1DC in last sc.
