Crochet Video Tutorial: Carry yarn up the sides

Carrying your yarn up the sides is a very usefull technique. But it needs to be tucked away neatly like the first photo which is right above.  The second photo below this has 1 inch strands on the sides which make it very easy to get caught on anything including fingers and toes. Depending on what you are making.

If you've ever weaved in your ends as you crochet then you can do this. All you're doing is weaving the old yarn in 1 time only then dropping down. It's ready next time you have to pick it up.
