Crochet Box Bobble Pattern


I made this for a group that accepts 6x9 inch rectangles. I wanted to make some bobble patterns so I had a little variety. You can download the instructions at the link above or see the instructions below.

Size: 6 x 9 inches
Hook Size: I
Yarn used: Red Heart
Stitches Used: Bobble, Half Double Crochet
HOW TO MAKE A BOBBLE
YO, insert hook into next stitch, pull through, YO, Pull through 2 loops
YO, insert hook (in same stitch), YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two loops (3 loops on hook)
YO, insert hook (in same stitch), YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two loops (4 loops on hook)
YO, insert hook (in same stitch), YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two loops
YO pull through all 5 loops
ABBREVIATIONS:
* * = Repeat the instructions between them
PATTERN:
chain 19
Row 1: go into 3rd stitch from hook and do 1Hdc, do 1 Hdc in each stitch across the row. (17Hdc)

Rows 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19: Chain2, do 1 Hdc in each stitch across the row.

Rows 4, 20 : Chain 2, Do 1 Hdc in each of the next 2 stitches, *Do 1 Bobble next stitch, 1Hdc next stitch * end with 1Hdc in each of the LAST 2 stitches.
Rows 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 : Do 1 Hdc in each of the first 2 stitches, do 1 Bobble next stitch, Do 1 Hdc in each of the next 11 stitches, do 1 Bobble next stitch, end with 1 Hdc in each next 2 stitches.
Rows 21, 23, 23: Chain2, do 1 Hdc in each stitch across the row.
