Crochet Video Tutorial: Learn how to do the Single Crochet (SC)

The shortest of all Crochet stitches

This is the shortest of all the Crochet stitches.  You can use as many chains as needed for your item.
For this example I will chain 15. This makes a tight fabric. Not a lot of flexibility. It's great for a blanket or a scarf or anything that needs to keep you warm.

Gauge: 3 sts per inch and 3.5 rows per inch
ch 15 = 5 inches wide
