I recently found the Primrose Stitch which is my new favorite crochet stitch pattern. I used it to create a beautiful Baby Blanket using Red Heart Super Saver Ombre Yarn called "Coral".  I have found this yarn to be quite soft for a Red Heart yarn. I made this for Warm Up America. It looks beautiful on both the back and front side of the blanket.

See my other Ombre Blankets below the pattern.

Stitch Pattern: Primrose
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Ombre, "Coral"
Amount of yarn needed: 2 Skeins (1 Skein 482 yards =17 inches in height) 964 yards used
Chain: 122 or a multiple of 3 + 2
Hook Size: I / 5.50mm
Size: 38in wide x 35in length
Gauge: 3.25 stitches per inch

Abbreviations:
sc = Single Crochet
dc = Double Crochet
chi = Chain
st = Stitch
TCH = Turning Chain (If not comfortable with TCH's then see below the pattern for an alternate)

Note: If you're not comfortable doing a turning chain then in Row 2 replace the "Ch3" with "Ch2, 1hdc in first stitch". Then continue on with the remainder of the pattern. That way you have a stitch to end row 3 in instead of ending in a Turning Chain.

PATTERN:
Row 1: in 2nd chain from hook do 1sc, skip 1, do (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in next *skip 2,  do (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in next,* repeat to end w/ sc in last chain

 Row 2: ch3 (is first dc), do 3dc in each ch2 space across the row. End w/ 1dc in last st.

 Row 3: Ch 1, 1sc in first stitch, *(1sc, ch2, 1sc) in the middle dc* end with 1sc in TCH

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for the remainder of your pattern.

These are some of the other blankets I have made using Ombre Yarns
