Mosaic Crochet Stitch Pattern

This Crochet stitch pattern is called  Mosaic.  It uses all the stitches to create the pattern. A beginner can easily create this design. This crochet pattern has repeats in case you want to increase the number of stitches you are using.

Stitches Used:
  • Single Crochet (SC)
  • Half Double Crochet (HDC)
  • Double Crochet (DC)
  • Triple Crochet (TR)
  • Long Single Crochet (LSC)
Chain: Multiple if 12+11

Pattern: Mosaic Stitch Pattern
Size: 7 inch square
Chain: 23
Hook: I
Yarn: Red Heart or any worsted weight yarn

Color pattern:
2 Rows with Yarn A and 2 rows with Yarn B
OR
2 rows A, 2 rows B,  2 rows A, 2 rows C then repeat if needed

**PLEASE READ Quick Note: Because of the amt of stitches and to save time, when I say "2SC", that means "Do 1SC in each of the next 2 stitches"If I say 4DC's then do 1DC in each of the NEXT 4 stitches. I never write patterns like this but it will save a lot of space and be less confusing, or intimidating, for you.**

Abbreviations:
* : repeat the instructions between the asterisks
SC= Single Crochet HDC= Half Double Crochet
DC=Double Crochet  TR= Triple Crochet   Ch = Chain
2LSC (Long Single Crochet) = Inserting hook from front, like a normal stitch, work 1SC into each of the 2 skipped SC's  3 rows below.

The first pattern is the exact pattern I do in the video. If you want to make something larger, under it is the pattern with the repeats.
