WHEN FINISHING (Only For HAP members)
When you are ½ inch from finishing do 2 rows of Half Double Crochets. Like I said in the notes you want 2 rows of HDC's so it makes it easier to crochet the rectangles together. UNLESS you ended with a row of HDC's then you just need to do 1.

ALSO
If you use 2 yarns for a striped effect follow this:

Light blue yarn – foundation chain & first 4 rows
Dark Blue yarn – 2 rows
Light Blue yarn– 2 rows
Dark Blue yarn – 2 rows
Light Blue yarn – 2 rows

Light Blue yarn – 2 rows
Dark Blue yarn – 2 rows
Light Blue yarn – 3 rows
