New Crochet Scarf
New Crumpled Griddle Crochet Scarf
This is a new pattern that I'm adding to the list of Winter scarfs and stitch patterns. This
is a very simple but interesting stitch pattern. Great for a beginner. I wanted to show you a swatch using 2 yarns so you can see the pattern it makes. It gives a great texture. If you're a beginner it's something different then just using the same basic stitch over and over again.
After
Row 1 you will be doing a Double Crochet in each Double Crochet from
the previous row. You will also be doing a Single Crochet in each
Single Crochet from the previous row. If you don't have the
instructions with you that's an easy way to remember what to do.

Thanks
so much! I hope you give it a try sometime.

when you go into the 4th chain from hook are you single crocheting or doing a double crochet?
ReplyDeleteFor the pattern you are alternating between DC's and SC's. The beginning chain 4 (from Row 1) is the first Double Crochet then repeat the instructions (alternating between) 1SC in the next stitch, 1 DC in the next stitch. Let me know if you have any other questions. Heather
