Raised Rib Single Crochet (Front Posts)

This is a dense pattern when it comes to front post patterns.  I use single crochets in the pattern and DC post stitches.

Use a multiple of 3+3 chains

I used ch 21 for this video.

ABBREVIATIONS:

FPDC: work 1dc around the stem of next stitch 2 rows below. Finish like a normal dc.

Row 1: do 1sc into the 2^nd chain from the hook and in each stitch across the row

Row 2: ch1, turn. Do 1 sc in each stitch across the row.

Row 3: ch1, turn. Do 1 sc in each of the first 2 stitches. *1 fpdc around next sc 2 rows below. 1Sc in Do 1 sc in each of the first 2 stitches * repeat to end

Row 4: ch1, turn. Do 1 sc in each stitch across the row.

Row 5: ch1, turn. Do 1sc in each of the first 2 sc. *do 1fpdc around the stem of the next fpdc 2 rows below. Do 1sc in each of the next 2 stitches. * repeat to the end.
